Dr. Lyanne Santistevan grew up on a farm north of Holyoke, Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State University in 2006 she worked as an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal practice in Oregon. Dr. Santistevan moved back to Colorado with her husband Brian and practiced at a small animal clinic in Greeley. Dr. Santistevan has been with Veterinary Medical Clinic since January of 2013 where she enjoys surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine. When not working, Dr. Santistevan keeps busy
Jolynn Sakugawa grew up working with her family on their cattle ranch and pig farm on Maui, Hawaii. Attended Colorado State University and graduated with her DVM in 2013. She worked in mixed animal practices in both Nebraska and Brush, Colorado before joining the team at Veterinary Medical Clinic in 2016. Dr. Sakugawa enjoys ultrasonography, preventative medicine, and physical therapy. When not working Dr. Sakugawa enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter, many pets and livestock.
Samantha was born and raised in Sterling, CO. She graduated Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in March of 2013. Since then she has worked at various clinics in CO and NE. She worked at VMC from 2016-2020 Samantha returned to VMC in March of 2023 after doing large animal work in NE. She has an interest in animal behavior and has begun training dogs in her free time. Outside of work she loves staying active with her sons and significant other. She has a dog, Crue and a kitten, Hasbula.
Baylee was raised in the Sterling/Merino area and graduated from Merino Highschool in 2016. She then attended Northeastern Junior College, graduating in 2018, then attended Eastern Wyoming College to earn her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2021. Being a horse girl at heart, she owns her heart horse named Moe and his donkey sidekick, Lassy. In her free time, Baylee loves riding and showing her horse, helping on the family farm, or hanging out with friends and family.
Mckenna grew up in Sterling. Attended Bel-Rea and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree. Got her LVT in November of 2022. She enjoys every aspect of working at an animal clinic! When she is not at work you can fine her outside enjoying activities, doing crafts, or spending time with her husband and animals around the farm. She has two wild heeler mix, two cats, chickens, goats, sheep, and of course are always looking to add more to their silly bunch.
Chantae was born in Aurora, but was mostly raised in our small town of Sterling. Her love for animals stated at a young age when she got her first pet rat named Missy. Growing up her mom taught her to love and be to kind to all animals. She enjoys working with the vets, and LVTs, and seeing all the animals everyday.
